80 Risograph Brushes

Ghost Drum includes 80 Risograph brushes built across four distinct ink categories: Dry Ink, Wet Ink, Absorbed Ink and Pressed Ink.

Each category includes 20 brushes:
10 scalable Risograph brushes from 10–100%, plus 10 matching shader brushes from 10–100%.

That gives you a full range of print behavior, from dry grain and broken texture to wet ink buildup, absorbed paper softness and pressed mechanical density.

Included brush categories

Dry Ink
Crisp, grainy Risograph brushes and shaders with a drier, more broken print texture. Great for gritty fills, rough shading and worn analog print effects.

Wet Ink
Softer, heavier Risograph brushes and shaders with more visible ink buildup. Useful for bold color layers, denser marks and richer printed texture.

Absorbed Ink
Paper-soaked Risograph brushes and shaders with a softer, more diffused finish. Ideal for subtle shading, faded print areas and gentle tonal buildup.

Pressed Ink
Compressed, punchier Risograph brushes and shaders with a more stamped mechanical feel. Great for strong overlays, poster-style marks and bold print texture.

Ghost Drum Palette Laboratory

Included with Ghost Drum is the Ghost Drum Palette Laboratory, an interactive color tool built for risograph-style palette building.

The Palette Laboratory includes two main tools:

Tri-Color Mixer

Build three-color Risograph palettes, preview ink overlaps, browse the Ghost Drum palette library and save or export your colors for your preferred app.

The Tri-Color Mixer is made for testing layered Risograph color before you start drawing. Choose three colors, adjust them with the color picker, enter exact HEX or RGB values, preview the overlaps and export the finished palette.

It is a quick way to find strong print-inspired color combinations without guessing how the layers will interact.

Palette Generator

Generate palettes of 3 to 5 colors using All Colors, Saturated Soft, Vibrant or Gradient Ramp. Lock favorites and keep generating the rest.

The Palette Generator gives you a faster way to explore color ideas. Build larger palettes, keep the colors that work, remove the ones that do not, reorder your set and export the final palette for your preferred software.

8 Curated Ghost Drum Palettes

Ghost Drum also includes 8 premixed palettes built for layered Risograph overlay.

These ready-made palettes give you a fast starting point before mixing, editing and exporting your own custom color sets in the Ghost Drum Palette Laboratory. Use them as-is, modify them, or treat them as launchpads for new print-inspired color combinations.

The included palettes are designed to work naturally with Ghost Drum’s brushes, shaders and layered ink effects.

5 Seamless High-Resolution Paper Textures

Ghost Drum includes 5 seamless high-resolution paper textures for adding extra printed surface character to your artwork.

These textures are fully seamless, so they can tile cleanly across larger artwork without obvious edges. Use them to add paper grain, printed softness, background grit or a subtle analog finish.

The Photoshop Edition is especially strong here. When used as pattern-based textures, the paper grain can tile continuously across your canvas, making it easy to cover larger documents, posters and print layouts without running out of texture.

Illustrator Edition

The Adobe Illustrator Edition is built for vector workflows and includes 35 Risograph swatches.

These swatches give Illustrator users a fast way to work with Ghost Drum-style print color inside vector artwork, logos, posters, packaging layouts and graphic design projects.

Because Illustrator handles brushes and textures differently from raster drawing apps, this edition focuses on usable Risograph-inspired color swatches rather than the full 80 raster brush set.
